Richmond-Burton Community High School

(Information updated 05/12/2020)

Dear R-B Students and Parents,
We hope you and your family are safe and healthy. As mandated by Governor Pritzker, we are not able to provide students with in-school instruction through the end of the school year. Instead we will continue using Remote Learning (formerly E-Learning) as our educational platform.
R-B has created a new “Remote Learning Plan” that is similar to the E-Learning plan. Please click on the link below to view the R-B Remote Learning Plan.

Richmond Burton Remote Learning FAQ's

The State has also allowed school districts days which can be used for teacher planning purposes. District 157 will utilize April 17th and April 24th as planning days. On these days your student will not receive an assignment from his or her teachers. On those days your child is encouraged to catch up on any work they have not completed, visit the sites provided to you during the Act of God days, or simply use these days as a time to take a break and do something fun as a family.
As this experience is ever changing, we will do our best to keep you informed, answer your questions, and above all, provide your child(ren) with support.
Stay safe and healthy! We hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,
Patick Enright, Ed.D.

Should your student be unable to attend Remote Learning for any reason, please report your child’s absence by emailing the school nurse, Ms. Annette Snyder, at  asnyder@rbchs.com.
