March 15, 2020

Dear R-B Parents and Students,

The staff and R-B hopes this note finds you and your family well. As you may already know, Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order 2020-05 stated that school days missed due to the mandated closure would be counted as Act of God Days, meaning days from March 16 -20 will not need to be made up at the end of the school year. Since we no longer need to make up these days, District 2 and District 157 will not be implementing a full E-Learning program for the coming week. Instead, we will keep our full E-Learning program for days in which the state would require us to make up those missed days.

In the meantime, we want students to remain engaged in learning and have access to educational resources. Staff will stay in contact with you and your student(s) throughout this ordeal.
